The commercial terms live in Terms of Service §7. This page states them in one place and – most importantly – gives you the process: how to cancel yourself, and how to request a refund. If the two documents ever disagree, the Terms govern.
1. Who this applies to
CVR Pilot is sold business-to-business. You confirm on signup that you are acting in the course of a trade or profession, so the consumer right of withdrawal (fortrydelsesret) under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act does not apply. Nothing here limits rights that mandatory law gives you anyway.
2. The short version
| Subscriptions | Renew automatically. Cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. The current period is not refunded. |
| Purchased credit packs | Non-refundable once purchased. They roll over and stay usable while your subscription is active. |
| Trial month (DKK 5) | One-off amount for 30 days of trial access. Not refundable, since the service (the search) is delivered immediately. Exception: if the card has already been used for a trial month, the purchase is refused and the DKK 5 is refunded automatically. |
| Mandatory law | Always prevails over the above. |
3. Cancelling
You can cancel yourself, at any time, without contacting us:
In the app → Settings → Manage subscription (this opens the Stripe billing portal) → Cancel plan.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not refund the period you are currently in.
- You keep access, and any remaining credits stay usable, until the end of that period.
- We do not require notice, a phone call, or a reason.
4. When we do refund
We are a small company and we would rather fix a problem than keep money we did not earn. We will issue a refund, in full or in part, where:
- We charged you in error – a duplicate charge, a charge after a valid cancellation, or a charge at the wrong amount.
- The Service was materially unavailable for a sustained period within a paid period, and the failure was ours.
- Credits were consumed by a defect on our side – e.g. enrichment charged for work our own system failed to deliver. Where the fault is ours we normally restore the credits rather than refunding cash, unless you prefer a refund.
- Mandatory law requires it.
We do not refund because a search returned fewer companies than hoped, because leads were not a good fit, or because the plan went unused. Discovery and scoring are free precisely so you can judge the fit before spending a credit – and a credit is only used when a lead fits your profile and is delivered to you. One exception: Verify your existing CRM uses 1 credit for each company in your CRM that we find in CVR and check. A company we cannot find in CVR uses no credit, and a company that has already been checked is not charged again.
5. How to request a refund
- Email billing@cvrpilot.dk from the email address on the account.
- Tell us which charge (date and amount, or the invoice number from the billing portal) and what went wrong. A sentence is enough.
- We acknowledge within 2 business days and give you a decision, with reasons, within 10 business days of the request.
- If we approve it, the refund goes back to the original payment method via Stripe. Stripe typically posts it within 5–10 business days; the exact timing is your bank's, not ours.
- If we decline, we tell you why in writing, and you are welcome to reply and contest it – a human reads it.
We do not charge a fee for requesting or processing a refund.
6. Changing plans mid-period
If you upgrade in the middle of a billing period, Stripe calculates the difference in price pro rata: a credit for the unused part of your old plan, and a charge for the remainder of the new one.
- Upgrading issues an invoice for that difference immediately, and your new plan's credits are released once it is paid. If the payment does not go through, the credits are held until it does – update your card in the billing portal and they land automatically.
- Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal: your current plan runs to the end of the period, nothing is credited, and you can cancel the downgrade under Settings until then.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we email the workspace owner straight away and Stripe retries the card according to its normal schedule (typically several attempts over 3–4 weeks). You can change the card or pay the open invoice at any time in the billing portal (Settings → Manage subscription). You have 72 hours from the failed payment during which everything continues unchanged. If the payment has not been registered by then, the paid features are paused: Autopilot, the pulse, CRM push and the paid sources. Your leads, your setup and your integrations are kept, and everything reopens automatically the moment the payment goes through. If it keeps failing the subscription lapses and the workspace drops to the trial tier (read-only) – your data is not deleted at that point.
8. Chargebacks
Please talk to us before opening a dispute with your bank – it is faster for both of us, and a chargeback typically also reverses the credits associated with the disputed charge. If you do open one, we will respond with the account and delivery record.
